Project Areas
In 4-H, you can discover your passion as you ‘learn by doing.’
Each 4-H youth chooses a project area based on their interest. What exactly is a project? 4-H projects have a defined scope: examples include kayaking, sportsfishing, STEM, animals, crops/plants, interior design, among others. Youth may participate in more than one project area. Your local Extension agent can tell you more about projects in your county. Whatever project area you choose, expect enthusiasm, goal-setting, hands-on learning, record-keeping, and fun!
