Guns play major parts on television programs featuring cowboys or law enforcement officers. Unfortunately, the news is filled daily with crimes committed by those carrying guns. Because of this, guns can be perceived as scary, but with proper instruction, they can be understood and respected.

The time commitment required for a volunteer leader training works
hop is significant. Mississippi 4-H S.A.F.E.T.Y. materials are carefully controlled and are made available only to workshop graduates. This workshop system is justified in order to continue delivering a cohesive, effective, and safe Mississippi 4-H S.A.F.E.T.Y. Program.
Sometimes it’s hard to find a safe and secure place to shoot. But you can make your own safe backstop without spending much money. Follow these steps and you’ll see that building your own backstop is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
It is important for beginning shotgun program participants to have early success. Carefully followed, the steps outlined in this teaching plan can help students and instructors succeed. Instructions are simple and include effective techniques, many of which the lifelong student-turned-instructor may have forgotten.
